El Somerset Medical Center en Somerville, NJ, es un centro médico regional de 355 camas, acreditado a nivel nacional, que brinda una variedad de servicios integrales de rehabilitación, médico/quirúrgicos y de emergencia a los residentes del centro de New Jersey. It is nationally recognized as a Magnet® hospital for nursing excellence. The medical center is designated as a Primary Stroke Center by the Joint Commission and has received the Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval for its acute myocardial infarction program and received the Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval for total hip and total knee replacement. The Steeplechase Cancer Center at Somerset Medical Center has also been honored with the prestigious Outstanding Achievement Award from the Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons.
